Just a video of the setup and use of my Coleman 14X10 Family Tent from Target. it was called the Hampton when I bought it. I think it may have been discontinued. It is a huge tent with vertical walls and it goes up with one person in about 20-40 minutes. Takedown is a little longer because it always takes longer but it fits in the bag nicely if you roll it a few times to get the air out.
It is similar to Wal-Mart's MAX Cabin tent (13X9) but it is bigger. Here are the major differences: THe Max tent is ugly for one, has lower corners, the big square windows on the wal-mart tent allow more air in, but don't close at the top, so they can flap in high winds. The wal-mart tent only has one rigid D-door. The wal-mart tent DOES have nifty flaps that run along the entire width of both sides of the tent so it probably stays cool better on hot days. The target tent has one vent on one side but it zips shut. I've camped in it down into the 40s and as long as you put the partition up the sleeping area stays bearable. A propane heater heats the whole tent up in 10 minutes or less to 60-65 degrees when it's 40 outside. The Coleman tent's power port has a zipper so you can snug it around an extension cord.
It withstood a huge thunderstorm with no leaks. I only threw the tarp over the roof in case a tree limb fell on the tent but it weathered the first storm without the tarp just fine. It's really a fantastic tent. The people in the campground called it "The Nylon RV."
To be fair to wal-mart, their MAX tent comes with a room divider that zips up the middle, with storage pockets the target tent's divider did not have. Also, the wal-mart tent comes with two hanging shelvecs and a ceiling net the target tent didn't have.
the target tent has better lines I think so there was an aesthetic decision for me. The wal-mart tent is lighter and packs down smaller though and costs $40 less. But you get what you pay for. It's not that wal-mart has a better price, it's that it has a smaller tent with only one rigid door. Either one should make anyone very happy.
