Annual Family Camping Trip: Pinecrest Lake, CA (June 27-30, 2010) Video Part 2

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 2nd video of our annual family camping trip here at Pinecrest, CA, it shows our 3rd day here. It all starts out early around 7am and we had an awesome, yummy breakfast by the campfire pit. Later, it shows us cousins do a full hike this time around the entire lake, completely circling it all around. It was a warm day also so this was tough! A good work out though. We saw beautiful views and also rivers and waterfalls as well as rocky cliffs, lots of forests, and the Pinecrest Lake dam. The trail was quite hard to navigate through since there were forks and occasional steep terrain. It was fun thought, it's like exploring and at the same time having a fun adventure in the great outdoors with my family. Once at the eastern side of the lake, (at 2:03 in the video), we saw one of the best views of our hiking trip: the raging river, potentially filled with trout! We also used this opportunity to take a nice break by the running river and cool down. Then afterwards, when we reached the dam, there was a large waterfall! So beautiful.... Then it was headed towards the afternoon hours and so we went back to camp for a bit, but decided to chill by the lake and take it easy now. This was our last full day here so we tried our best to enjoy it all we can now...although some of us were having a little bit too much fun as you'll see in the video, haha. To end the video, we went boating on the lake. It was my first time riding in a motorboat. It was fun! The remainder of our camping trip is shown on the last video, video Part 3. Enjoy!
