"After doing a ton of research on this and more expensive tents, I decided to go with the Kelty Getaway 4. It is perfect for two people, our large dog, and plenty of gear. I'd wager it would comfortably sleep 3 people and gear. Many of the seams are pulled through and sewn, creating a watertight area. Others are already tapedWithout the rainfly, there is plenty of ventilation and you can sleep under the stars. With the rainfly, you appear adequately covered from the rain (though I must admit it has not rained much on us, but we were covered during overnight rain. I've owned a cheaper tent that leaked during similar rainfall. The front of the fly (when staked) creates a bit of extra space outside of the tent, which I found useful for many purposes.Everything collapses nicely into the include sack and it is incredibly light for the size (6-7 lbs). We've brought it backpacking and most recently car camping to Lake Anna State Park in October (with sleeping bags rated to keep us warm to 20 degrees). Condensation built on the inner walls of the tent, but there was adequate space to keep us from touching the walls.I've never owned a 400 dollar tent, so I'm not sure how this compares, but for less than
120 this tent is a steal."

"This tent is nice and easy to put up. Sturdy poles and good material. My only real complaint is that as a 6'4" 225lb guy there's no way I would call it a 4 person. It is about the size of a queen bed inside. It'll fit Me and my wife and two little kids but when they get a bit bigger we'll need something bigger."
